Educational content

The guides, checklists and examples on LiteScroll.com are published for general educational purposes. They explain common SEO practices in plain English to help small website owners learn and make informed decisions.

Our content is not professional advice for your specific website, business or legal situation. Every site is different, so test changes carefully and consider expert help for high-stakes decisions.

No ranking guarantees

Search engines use their own ranking systems, which are not public and change frequently. Following our guides or fixing issues found by our tools can improve the technical health of your pages, but we cannot and do not guarantee rankings, traffic, indexing or sales.

Any results you achieve depend on many factors outside our control, including competition, content quality and search engine updates.

Tool accuracy

The LiteScroll SEO Crawler and SEO Inspector analyse pages automatically using the data available when they run. We work to keep them accurate, but reports may occasionally miss an issue, show a false positive or differ from what a search engine sees.

Pages behind logins, blocked by robots rules, heavily dependent on JavaScript or changed after a scan may produce incomplete results. Treat reports as a helpful starting point, verify important findings and always keep a backup before editing a live site.

Third-party trademarks

Google, Google Search, Google Chrome and Chrome are trademarks of Google LLC. Bing is a trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Other product and company names mentioned on this site are trademarks of their respective owners.

LiteScroll is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google, Microsoft or any other search engine. We refer to these names only to describe compatibility and to explain how search works.

External links

Our guides link to external websites, such as Google Search Central, schema.org and web.dev, so you can read the original documentation. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, availability or privacy practices.

A link to another website does not mean we endorse everything on it. Information on external sites may change after we publish a guide.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for any changes you make to your own website based on our content or reports. Before editing templates, robots rules, canonical tags or structured data, make a backup and test on a single page first.

Only scan websites you own or have permission to analyse.

Accuracy and updates

SEO best practices evolve. We review and update our guides as described in our Editorial Policy, but some information may become outdated between reviews.
